“Our local veterans council put on a Mexican Christmas Dinner for veterans, first responders, an their families in December. I volunteered to bring the pastries. A friend at work recommended I visit Los Gallos Bakery and that turned out to be great advice! The good people at Los Gallos were happy to help me select a nice variety of Mexican holiday pastries and treats. The price for the number of items I picked out was more than fair - and the baked goods were the hit of the dinner! I highly recommend Los Gallos Bakery as THE place to go for fresh, delicious baked goods!“

“We eat at Cielo’s almost every time we come to San Angelo. The service is always great. The food is consistently delicious. We even have our favorite table! Honestly, Cielo is still our favorite Mexican food restaurant in town.“

“Today was the first time my family tried this place. First, I must say the owners are very nice, very polite, and respectful. Now, to get to the food. I had the menudo, and the flavor was amazing. Taste and texture were good, no disappointment there, the tripas gorditas they were amazing, and the Asada tacos taste so good, the chile verde chilaquiles were awsome i loved the sauce they used as it wasnt too spicy but had a kick to them. All their food is freshly made and has authentic flavors similar to what we're used to. I also ordered horchata and it was amazing. I won't lie we actually went twice today and the second time I also ordered the quesabirria and it was amazing flavors and texture were great all the food was freshly made and amazing we'll definitely be going back to try more items on their menu. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.“

“My daughter is autistic and struggles with certain foods. We went for a party which has a limited menu and I asked if we could just take sauce off the enchiladas and then Simon the owner came over and said he wanted her to be happy and to eat so she could get whatever she wanted he would make sure she was accommodated. And when we left he was so nice to make sure she enjoyed and to say goodbye to her and made her feel so special. Would highly recommend them. Never had a restraunt be so nice and understanding of my duaghter so she could still eat and enjoy the party.“

“The food was great and the employees were very generous and helpful,my niece accidentally threw up and the the guy cleaning the tables was quick to help clean up my I was going to clean up with my napkins and he said, I got it ma'am,it was not a problem to them, and we have gone out to eat and some of the watiers roll there eye on us, I give them a 10 on their services thank y'all very much, and Merry Christmas ?⛄“

“Wanted to come here and try the breakfast tacos. There is plenty of parking here and very easy to locate. I was quickly served and got some great recommendations. I got the sausage and egg, Machacado, and a guiso and bean. They all tasted great but the guiso and bean was by far the best. The green sauce was the perfect amount of spice and flavor that went well with the tacos.“

“Hidden gem! I have resided in here for over 10 years and had no idea of this quaint little place. Service was great and the food was fresh and delicious! My wife took me for breakfast and they have a full menu so she ordered the flautas and for 8am- they were probably the best I’ve had in this city. Guacamole was fresh and the red salsa was deliciously spicy! 10/10 recommend!!“

“We were there for Mom's birthday breakfast at the recommendation of my brother and sister-in-law, both educators with SAISD. The menudo was as good as Moms -- and she gave it 5 stars. the burritos, pork chop plate were also very delicious. Coffee was fresh. I cannot possibly go without mentioning the excellent customer service. THANK YOU for a WONDERFUL experience. My family shall return, and we will definitely spread the word. It's all about supporting small family businesses. I do so in San Antonio, and I shall do it here. Again, thank you and GOD BLESS YOU!“

“I love getting my breakfast burritos in the morning and I've gone to several different burrito places but I hadn't gone to Iliana's. Let me tell you, she has the best ones by Far. All the rest I've eaten are as greasy as they come. It's like they just can't serve them if they don't put all the grease they can on it. Iliana's somehow makes them with as little grease as possible (if any) making it nice to eat a burrito WITHOUT any grease running down your arm or soaking your napkin that holds it or even soaking the bag it comes in, and great taste as well. She has coffee, chips, fresh roasted whole peppers and awesome salsa, along with a dine in area just like the others and better/competitive prices. Why go anywhere else for breakfast or lunch for that matter?? BEST BURRITO PLACE IN TOWN!!“

“The best spicy asado by far! The burritos are a bit pricey but with how much they stuff one you’ll definitely get full! The other competitors burritos are so small and tortillas have a weird texture to them almost like rubbery so these guys are the way to go!“

“It was mine and hubby's 1st time here we've been hearing good things so we decided to give it a try it was the Best Decision the Food was amazing and the set up of the meal was perfect oh and the Best part Their Margarita drinks were Right what I needed. I love music while I eat the Atmosphere was just what I needed on a Saturday evening. Nely was the lady that took care of us and She always came with a Smile and was great everyone was. “On Thursday August 3rd my 92 year old grandma lost her cane at the restaurant. We were hung up on when we called. Owner was listened to my concerns on how we were treated. But, the male tall waiter, kind of bald, was rude. Even after a very good tip. Shame on you, sir, for such poor manners. If you have my grandma's cane please return.“

“We’ve usually had good experiences here. I just have 1 constructive criticism…The steak this past time was super hard and chewy. Very unappetizing. I haven’t had steak that hard in a long time. Its def a choking hazard for young kids and older adults. So I would just recommend cooking the steak in a different way where it’s more tender.“

“Corner stop has the best tortillas on the planet. I have been a loyal customer for over a decade and every time I’m back in town this is a must visit. My go to is the nopalios plate. Also if you are down for a little spice, the papa chile is to DIE FOR. I’ve never had anything like it anywhere. Other highlights are the pancakes, carne asada fries, and guiso. If you’ve never been, you’re missing out!“

“I get the supreme meat with beans and potatoes, but if your not early enough they run out quickly and won't make anymore. I have to usually get there before 10 am to get it. The barbacoa is extremely greasy so I stay away from that. Good food and fast service“
