TV star Angellica Bell was seen in tears as she opened up about her departure from The Martin Lewis Money Show back in 2023. On Tuesday night, the Celebrity Big Brother housemate got emotional in the Diary Room as she reflected on her challenging journey on the show, before being evicted in a public vote.
After being asked by Big Brother if she enjoyed 'banging the pots and pans in the morning', she admitted it felt 'so good' to annoy fellow housemate Donna Preston. Following a brief moment of levity, she confessed to Big Brother: "I'm going to be honest with you, I didn't think I'd get this far. I'm still pinching myself that I'm here."

Big Brother responded: "Big Brother thinks you're a great housemate," which led her to break down in tears, admitting she's "not very good at compliments".
"I've loved every minute, it's probably the best thing I've done in a long time. Before I came in here, I was a little bit scared. The press were asking me if I would talk about the Martin Lewis show and stuff, it took me a long time to get over that.
"I was so grateful to all of the audience who messaged me about it, also to other celebrities who contacted me and stuff because those messages are what got me through.
"That's why I wanted to come onto this show and tap into my old self because it's taken me a long time."
As she sniffled, Big Brother reassured her: "Angelica, Big Brother thinks you're doing really well."
To which she replied: "You know what, I think I found myself again being here."

What happened when Angellica left The Martin Lewis Money Show?
TV favourite Angelica, age 49, renowned for a stellar 25-year career spanning children's and daytime television, was shockingly axed from her prestigious TV gig in 2023 after co-hosting for six years.
Angellica reportedly found out she was abruptly no longer needed on the award-winning show, with former Olympian and broadcaster Jeanette Kwakye stepping into her shoes.
Since hopping aboard The Martin Lewis Money Show Live back in 2017, Angellica then took the helm of Channel 5's Shop Smart, Save Money, refreshing the format previously known as The Gadget Show.
Whispers of a 'conflict of interest' circulated as the reason behind her swift departure from the ITV programme.
